Guide / 7 steps / about 15 minutes

White-label your portal.

Add your name, logo, colors and font so every client screen looks like it came from you.

Before you start
  • A logo image, or a website the logo can be picked up from
  • Your brand colors, if you have them
  • A client portal to preview on
Brand styling is included on every plan.
1

Sidebar, Account group, My Brand

Open My Brand

Everything about how your portal looks is in one place. Once you have a brand, Brand guidelines shows it as a short deck: logo, typography, color palette and shape. Press the pencil to edit, or Scan my website to start from your site.

  • While you edit, a Brand health row counts five checks: logo, app icon, colors, name and font. A button for each one still open takes you straight to it.
  • Changes show right away and save for everyone. The check mark saves and locks the brand again.
  • Export prints the guidelines one slide per page, so your browser can save them as a PDF to share.

My Brand, Brand guidelines

Set your name and logo

Type your brand name, then choose Add logo. Paste your website and BravaSpace finds the logo there, or upload a file yourself.

  • Use your agency or studio name, not the product name. It shows in tasks, messages, files, invoices and on the sign-in page. Changing it renames the workspace.
  • Add an app icon too, so the browser tab, the top bar and avatars carry your mark. If you only have a logo, choose Make app icon from logo.
3

My Brand, Color palette

Pick colors

Four colors do all the work. Tap one to change it or type a hex code, or try a whole palette: Built around your primary pairs your main color with an accent and a bar, and Starter palettes set all four at once.

  • Primary is for buttons, selected tabs and ticked boxes. Accent is for links, progress bars and focus rings. Top bar colors the top bar and the sidebar, and Bar text is the text and icons on it.
  • Each color shows its contrast ratio with the text on it, so you can see when something would be hard to read.
  • Scan my website reads your site for a logo, colors and fonts. Choose Use this brand, or Pick individually.
4

My Brand, Typography and Shape

Choose a font and corners

One typeface and one corner style apply to all text, buttons, cards and fields, for you and for your clients.

  • Fonts other than Overused Grotesk and the system font load from Google Fonts.
  • Corners are Sharp, Default or Round, for buttons, cards and fields alike.
5

My Brand, Preview

Preview it full screen

Preview opens a large view of your brand. Switch between the client portal, the sign-in page, an invoice, an email and a mobile screen, and between light and dark.

6

My Brand, Domain

Give your portal its own address

Claim a free address with your name in it, such as youragency.bravaspace.com. It is live in about two minutes, and there is nothing to set up on your side.

  • The sign-in and join pages at that address wear your logo, colors and font.
  • Invites, sign-in links and password resets use it from then on. Links clients already have keep working.
  • A domain you own, such as portal.youragency.com, is coming soon.
7

Client record, View portal, Preview as Client

See it as your client does

Open a client, choose View portal, then Preview as Client in the side bar. Look at the top bar and a few tabs. Everything a client sees should carry your name and colors.

  • Check it on your phone too.
  • If something is off, go back to My Brand. Undo steps back one change at a time.

If something looks different

Common snags.

BravaSpace trims empty margins around a logo when you add it and centers tall marks. If it still looks small, try a version of the logo with less padding built into the image.

Dark or very colorful logos are placed on a white plate so they stay readable. If that is not what you want, add a lighter version.

While you edit, Undo at the top of My Brand steps back one change at a time. Reset to defaults puts everything back to the starting theme, and asks you first.

Yes. Your brand is saved for the whole workspace at once and shows in every client portal. A single client’s own logo, color and welcome are set on their record, under Brand.

Your brand name appears across the workspace, on the sign-in page and on invoices. Files you generate with Brava use your colors, logo and name too. Preview shows the portal, sign-in page, invoice, email and mobile screen.

Each color shows its contrast with the text on it. If the bar text is hard to read on the bar color, Make the bar text readable fixes it in one click.
