Approvals and contracts

Get a clear yes from your client.

Ask clients to check work, request changes, or approve it. Send contracts for them to sign in their space. Send invoices, and see when a client has opened one.

Free for 14 days. No credit card needed.

Follow the status

Ask the client to check it.

Pick a kind of request and move it along. See who acts at each step.

A task becomes a request for sign-off when you set Client Review.

Approve, change or comment

Three clear answers, not a vague reply. Request changes tells you something is off. Comment lets them ask a question.

Contracts with statuses

Send from one of eight templates, a blank draft Brava writes, or your own upload. Track Draft, Awaiting signature, Signed, Declined or Void.

Invoices with Pay now

Connect your Stripe account and clients pay in a Stripe checkout, then come back to their space. Paid is marked for you.

Invoices

An invoice that looks like it came from you.

Pick a style, start from a ready-made invoice, fill in your own prices and send it. The client sees it in Billing and gets a message in their thread with a link. With your Stripe account connected, they pay from the portal.

  • Three styles: Classic, Modern and Minimal, all in your brand colors and logo.
  • Eight ready-made starting points, from Monthly retainer and Project deposit to Website build, SEO audit and Photo or video shoot, plus a blank invoice and Duplicate a previous invoice.
  • Amounts start empty. An invoice with nothing to bill cannot be sent, so a template never bills a made-up number.
  • Send to client, or Copy link when you want to share it another way.

Logo and name at the top, a clean table, totals on the right.

Invoice activity

Know if it was opened.

Every invoice has an activity timeline: when it was created and sent, when the link was copied, when the client viewed it, any reminder, and when it was paid or voided. The top line says it plainly, for example how long ago it was sent and whether it has been viewed.

A reminder can go out once every 24 hours for an invoice that is sent and unpaid. You can edit the text first.

Contracts

Send the contract to sign.

Pick a template, add the term, fee and start date if you have them, and Brava drafts it for you to send under your name. Anything it cannot know, like fees, dates and names to sign, stays as a clear placeholder. A paper preview shows the sections as you choose. Already have a contract? Upload it as a draft.

Proposals

A proposal that sets up the client when they say yes.

Build a proposal for a prospect or a client. Send one link and see when it was viewed. When they accept, BravaSpace sets up the client for you.

  • Draft with Brava from the prospect’s website, then edit the cover, summary, scope and timeline.
  • Up to four packages with a price, monthly or one-time, what is included and a recommended one, plus optional add-ons.
  • Ask for payment at signing: everything, a percent, a fixed amount or nothing yet. Terms can start from a contract template, with an expiry date.
  • The prospect opens a page in your brand with no account, picks a package and add-ons, sees the total, signs with Accept and sign and can pay on Stripe. They can also download a PDF.
  • On accept you get the client, their portal invite, the first invoice, the accepted proposal filed as a PDF, one kickoff task for each included item and a welcome in their thread.
  • The list shows each proposal as Draft, Sent, Viewed, Accepted, Declined or Expired, with a next step such as Follow up after three quiet days.

Being plain about signatures

Signed online, with a record.

Clients sign contracts in their portal and proposals on the shared link, by typing their name and ticking that they agree. The signed copy keeps who signed and when. For a contract signed on paper, you mark it signed with the date and, if you like, the signed copy.

Worth knowing

  • Signing is a typed name and an I agree box, recorded with the time. There is no identity verification.
  • Pay now needs your own Stripe account connected.
  • Payments made outside Stripe are covered by Mark paid.

The client side

Keep feedback with the work.

A comment, a button, and a record, all on the task. This is an example, with invented names.

Questions

Questions about approvals and contracts.

You set the task to Client Review. They see Review & respond, and can Approve, Request changes or Comment. Their answer is recorded on the task.

Yes. In their Billing tab the client opens the contract, chooses Review and sign, types their full name and email (a title is optional) and ticks that they agree. A signed copy, with a record of who signed and when, is saved to their Reports, and you see who signed in the list. For a contract signed on paper, Mark signed records the date and an optional signed copy. There is no identity check, so if you need a legally specific signing process, use a dedicated tool and attach the signed copy.

Yes. Under Client Billing, Proposals (or Files & Media, Proposals) you build a proposal for a prospect or a client, send a link and follow it from Draft to Sent, Viewed and Accepted. The prospect signs right on the shared page with Accept and sign, typing their name and ticking that they agree. When it is accepted, the client, their portal invite, the first invoice and kickoff tasks are created for you.

Draft, Awaiting signature, Signed, Declined and Void.

Sent invoices show Pay now once you connect your own Stripe account. The payment goes through Stripe checkout. A webhook marks the invoice Paid by itself, and Mark paid covers payments made elsewhere.

Yes. The invoice activity timeline records when it was sent, when the link was copied, when the client viewed it, reminders and payment. You can send a reminder once every 24 hours while it is unpaid.

Three styles: Classic, Modern and Minimal. Starting points are Monthly retainer, Monthly SEO, Project deposit, Three-milestone project, Website build, SEO audit, Hourly consulting, Photo or video shoot, Blank invoice and Duplicate a previous invoice. Prices start empty so you fill in your own.

Service agreement, Statement of work, Mutual NDA, Photography contract, Model release, Proposal, Onboarding checklist and Invoice. You can also describe a contract in your own words and let Brava draft it, or upload one you already have. Drafts are not legal advice, so read and adjust them before you send.

Payments run through your own Stripe account, under Stripe's terms. BravaSpace is not the payment processor.

Invoices can be voided, duplicated or deleted. A voided invoice is kept, the client sees it as Void and can no longer pay it. Contracts can be marked declined or void.

Studio and agents

The first draft, already done.

When a task waits three days in review, Chase approvals has the nudge drafted; you send it as you, and the client hears from you, not a tool.

Try it with one client.

Add some work. Share a file. Ask for feedback. See what your client sees, with your name on it. Free for 14 days. No credit card needed.
