Proposals
Show the client what comes next.
Put the work and price in a clear proposal. Help the client see what they are paying for. When they accept, the client, their invite, the first invoice and the kickoff tasks are made for you.
Free for 14 days. No credit card needed.
From link to client
Watch one proposal get a yes.
Click a step, or let it play. Names and prices are made up.
The builder
Write on the left. See their page on the right.
As you write, a live preview shows the proposal the way the prospect will see it, with your brand. Save keeps a draft. Send makes it live.
A prospect or a client
For a prospect, add their name, company, email and website. For someone who is already a client, pick them instead.
Cover, summary, scope, timeline
A headline and subhead, a summary of what you will change, an optional note to them, the scope one line each, and up to eight timeline phases.
Up to four packages
Each with a name, a price, monthly or one-time, a summary and what is included. Mark one as recommended, and add up to eight optional add-ons.
Payment at signing
Choose what is collected when they sign: all of the one-time part, a percent, a fixed amount or nothing yet. Pick the currency.
Terms and an expiry date
Start the terms from a contract template, such as a service agreement or statement of work, then edit them. After the valid-until date it can no longer be accepted.
Sending
One link, and a message ready to go.
Send turns the proposal live and gives you its private link with a short message. Copy it, open it in your email, or post it in an existing client's thread.
- The list shows each proposal's state, what it starts at and when it was last touched, with the next thing to do.
- Sent or viewed and quiet for three days, it asks you to Follow up, with a short nudge and the link.
- Every proposal has an activity log: created, sent, link copied, opened, followed up, declined, signed, accepted and paid.
- Preview as the prospect opens their page without counting a view. Only they can accept.
Good to know
- BravaSpace does not email the proposal. You send the link your way.
- A view is counted once per visitor every ten minutes, so a refresh does not inflate it.
- Anyone with the link can open that one proposal. Turn off the link at any time.
Their page
Your brand. No account to make.
The prospect opens the link and reads the proposal with your logo and colors. They pick a package and any add-ons. They see the one-time part, the monthly part and what is due when they sign.
- Accept and sign asks for their full name, email and an optional title, and a tick that they agree.
- With your Stripe account connected, they pay the amount due on Stripe checkout straight after.
- Download PDF gives them a copy of the proposal at any point.
- Decline lets them say no, with an optional reason that lands in your activity log.
Draft
Only you can see it. Save as often as you like.
Sent
The link is live and waiting for them.
Viewed
They opened it. The list says how many times and when.
Accepted
They signed. The client side is set up and the proposal opens read-only with what it made.
Declined
They declined on the page, with a reason if they gave one, or you marked it lost.
Expired
Past its valid-until date, so it can no longer be accepted. Set a later date and send it again to reopen it.
When they accept
The setup is done before you open it.
It all happens in one go when they accept. A second click or a retry never makes it twice.
- 1
The client
A new client with their portal and Billing tab on, or the work added to the client it was for. A portal invite goes to their email when it is free to invite.
- 2
The first invoice
The amount due at signing plus the first month, in their Billing tab, ready to pay on Stripe.
- 3
The signed copy
A contract recorded as Signed, and the accepted proposal filed as a PDF in their Reports.
- 4
The kickoff
A kickoff project with one task for each item included in the package they chose, and a welcome in their thread.
Questions
Questions about proposals.
Under Files & Media, Proposals for every proposal, and under Client Billing, Proposals. Start a new one for a prospect, draft one with Brava from their website, or write one to upsell an existing client.
Yes, right on the shared link. With Accept and sign, the prospect types their full name and ticks that they agree to the proposal and its terms. BravaSpace records the name, email and time, and files a PDF that says how it was signed. It does not verify identity. If you need an identity-checked signature, use a dedicated tool and keep the signed copy with the client.
No. Send makes the private link and a ready message. You copy it, open it in your own email, or, for an existing client, post it in their thread. Follow up works the same way.
No. Anyone with the link can read the proposal, pick a package and accept. Once they accept, the page offers to set up their portal login.
From the proposal as you saved it, never from the browser. A monthly package always charges its first month. For the one-time part you choose what is collected at signing: all of it, a percent, a fixed amount or nothing yet. With nothing yet, the first invoice is still made, due in 14 days.
Yes, when your own Stripe account is connected. After accepting they can pay the amount due on Stripe checkout. Without Stripe the invoice is made and waits in their Billing tab.
Pick An existing client when you build it. Accepting then adds the work to that client, with the invoice, the signed copy and the kickoff tasks, instead of making a new client.
It is an AI request, so it uses AI credits like any other. Brava reads the main page of their website, plus anything you add about what they need, and writes the cover, summary, scope, timeline and three packages. Nothing is saved or sent until you do it.
Yes. Turn off link stops it working. You can also duplicate a proposal as a new draft, mark it declined, or delete it. Deleting keeps the client, invoice, contract and tasks it made.
What it does not do
- Signing is a typed name and a tick, recorded with the time, with no identity check.
- It does not send email. You share the link yourself.
- Paying on the page needs your own Stripe account connected.
- Brava reads one page of their website for the draft, and the draft uses AI credits.
