BravaSpace or Dubsado: what fits your agency?
Dubsado is a business management tool for service businesses, known for forms and workflows you shape yourself. BravaSpace gives every client of an agency or studio a branded space for tasks, approvals, files, invoices and reporting, ready on the first day.
Free for 14 days. No credit card needed.
You run an agency or studio and want each client to sign in to a space under your brand for ongoing work: tasks, approvals, files, messages, invoices and search reporting, with team members included.
You like to design your own process, with lead capture forms, questionnaires and automated workflows that move each client through the steps, and the client side is mostly forms, contracts and invoices.
What you get with BravaSpace
Less to build, more for your clients to see.
Presets decide which tabs each client gets, so a new client’s space is ready to preview with these in it, with nothing to build first.
At a glance
Where each one is strong.
Our own score, out of 5, for how well each tool fits client work. It is our opinion, not a test. We built one of these two, so keep that in mind.
- Ready on day one for ongoing client work
- Approvals and feedback on the work itself
- Search and marketing reporting per client
- Workflows you design step by step
- Lead capture and questionnaires

Where BravaSpace is better
- There is little to build: presets such as Marketing and SEO, Photography and video, and Web design set up each client’s tabs.
- Clients approve, request changes or comment on work you put up for review, and the answer is recorded on the task.
- Each client has one message thread and a Reports tab, beside their tasks and invoices.
- Rankings and search performance from SE Ranking and Google appear in each client’s space, with connectors for analytics, ads and email tools.
- Every plan includes at least 3 team members, and each team member gets Off, View or Edit per area.
- Ask Brava drafts replies, summaries and reports from each client’s data for you to review.
Where Dubsado is better
- Workflows are its strength: you design the steps once and they run for each new client.
- Lead capture forms and questionnaires are flexible and can feed the rest of the process.
- Contracts, invoices and scheduling sit in the same system as the forms.
- It suits a business with a repeatable process, where each client goes through the same steps.
You do not have to pick one
Using them together.
If your process lives in Dubsado workflows and works, you can keep that for leads and onboarding and use BravaSpace for the ongoing work clients see. Most teams end up wanting one place for contracts and invoices, so decide which tool sends them. If the work with each client lasts months and needs approvals and reporting, BravaSpace is set up for that from the start.
Switching from Dubsado
Bring your clients across from Dubsado.
It is one chat with Brava: say where you’re coming from, drop in the export, check, import. You see everything before it is added.
- 1
Tell Brava where you’re coming from.
Choose Add a client, then Switch from another tool, and pick Dubsado. Brava gives you its export steps.
- 2
Drop in your export.
Your clients and contacts from Dubsado, and projects or tasks if you want them: CSV, Excel or a ZIP. Brava reads only the column names and the first 20 rows to map the columns. Change any it got wrong.
- 3
Check, then import.
A short summary, like “9 clients and 11 contacts; 1 row needs a look.” Fix that row or leave it out, then press Import once. You can still undo the import afterwards.
Read the full switching guide, or talk to us if your export looks unusual.
Questions
Fair questions.
For agencies and studios with ongoing client work, yes. It has forms, proposals, contracts signed online and invoices with Pay now, and it is built around a branded space per client with tasks, approvals, files and reporting. If designing your own automated workflows matters most, Dubsado is stronger there.
Yes. In BravaSpace choose Add a client, then Switch from another tool, and pick Dubsado: Brava gives you the export steps. Drop in the CSV, Excel or ZIP export, check the short summary, then import. Nothing is emailed to your clients, and Undo this import takes it back.
BravaSpace has Forms: start from a template or build your own, publish it and assign it to clients, and they answer in their portal’s Requests tab. Each request lands as a task in your plan. Dubsado’s forms go further into lead capture and workflows.
BravaSpace is $39, $99 or $249 a month with 5, 10 or 40 client spaces. Dubsado’s prices change, so check its pricing page and compare what each plan includes.
