BravaSpace or Plutio: what fits your agency?
Plutio brings projects, tasks, time tracking, proposals, contracts and invoices into one app for freelancers and small teams, with a client portal. BravaSpace starts from the client: a branded space each one signs in to, with approvals, files, invoices and reporting.
Free for 14 days. No credit card needed.
You run an agency or studio and want each client to see their tasks, approvals, files, invoices and search reporting in one branded space, with Ask Brava drafting the updates for you to review.
You want one app to run your own work as well as clients’, with time tracking, projects and tasks, proposals, contracts and invoices together, and a client portal on top.
What you get with BravaSpace
Starts from the client, not the project list.
Each client gets a branded space with these in it, and your team sees the same tabs the client does.
At a glance
Where each one is strong.
Our own score, out of 5, for how well each tool fits client work. It is our opinion, not a test. We built one of these two, so keep that in mind.
- A branded space per client
- Approvals and feedback on the work itself
- Search and marketing reporting per client
- Time tracking and your own project planning
- Breadth of business tools in one app

Where BravaSpace is better
- It is set up for agency and studio work, with presets such as Marketing and SEO, Photography and video, and Web design deciding which tabs each client sees.
- Clients approve, request changes or comment on work you put up for review, and the answer is recorded on the task.
- Rankings and search performance from SE Ranking and Google appear in each client’s space, with connectors for analytics, ads and email tools.
- An accepted proposal creates the client, their portal invite, the first invoice and kickoff tasks for you.
- Ask Brava drafts replies, summaries and reports from each client’s data for you to review, and Studio tools write first drafts.
Where Plutio is better
- Time tracking is built in, so hours can feed invoices without another tool.
- Projects and tasks are made for planning your own work as well as clients’.
- Proposals, contracts and invoices sit in the same app as the projects.
- It suits a freelancer or a small team who wants one app for everything.
You do not have to pick one
Using them together.
The two overlap, so most teams pick one. If you live in timers and want to plan all of your work in one app, Plutio covers that. If what matters most is how each client sees the work, approves it and gets their results, BravaSpace puts that first. Teams who track time elsewhere often keep their timer and use BravaSpace for the client side.
Switching from Plutio
Bring your clients across from Plutio.
It is one chat with Brava: say where you’re coming from, drop in the export, check, import. You see everything before it is added.
- 1
Tell Brava where you’re coming from.
Choose Add a client, then Switch from another tool, and pick Plutio. Brava gives you its export steps.
- 2
Drop in your export.
Your clients and contacts from Plutio, and projects or tasks if you want them: CSV, Excel or a ZIP. Brava reads only the column names and the first 20 rows to map the columns. Change any it got wrong.
- 3
Check, then import.
A short summary, like “9 clients and 11 contacts; 1 row needs a look.” Fix that row or leave it out, then press Import once. You can still undo the import afterwards.
Read the full switching guide, or talk to us if your export looks unusual.
Questions
Fair questions.
For agencies and studios that want a branded space per client with approvals and reporting, yes. BravaSpace does not track time, so if timers and timesheets are central to how you bill, Plutio covers that and BravaSpace does not.
Yes. In BravaSpace choose Add a client, then Switch from another tool, and pick Plutio: Brava gives you the export steps. Drop in your people, companies and projects as CSV, Excel or a ZIP, check the short summary, then import. Nothing is emailed to your clients, and Undo this import takes it back.
Yes. The client signs a contract in their portal, under Billing, by typing their name and ticking that they agree, and a signed copy with who signed and when is saved to their Reports. Proposals are signed the same way on their shared link. There is no identity check.
