BravaSpacevsHoneyBook
BravaSpace or HoneyBook: what fits your agency?
HoneyBook is built to take an independent business from inquiry to booked and paid. BravaSpace gives every client of an agency or studio a branded space for the work after that: tasks, approvals, files, invoices and reporting.
Free for 14 days. No credit card needed.
You run an agency or studio with ongoing client work, and each client needs a branded space for tasks, approvals, files, messages, invoices and reporting, with team members included on every plan.
You are an independent business, such as a photographer, planner or designer, and most of your admin is getting booked: inquiries, proposals, contracts, payments and scheduling, with automations doing the follow-up.
What you get with BravaSpace
For the months of work after the contract is signed.
Proposals, contracts and invoices are here too. Around them, each client gets a space under your brand where the ongoing work happens.
At a glance
Where each one is strong.
Our own score, out of 5, for how well each tool fits client work. It is our opinion, not a test. We built one of these two, so keep that in mind.
- A branded space per client for ongoing work
- Approvals and feedback on the work itself
- Search and marketing reporting per client
- From inquiry to booked and paid in one flow
- Automations that follow up for you

Where BravaSpace is better
- Each client gets a branded space with tasks, approvals, files, messages and invoices, set up from presets such as Marketing and SEO, Photography and video, and Web design.
- Clients approve, request changes or comment on work you put up for review, and the answer is recorded on the task.
- Rankings and search performance from SE Ranking and Google appear in each client’s space, with connectors for analytics, ads and email tools.
- Every plan includes at least 3 team members, and each team member gets Off, View or Edit per area, for all clients or only theirs.
- Ask Brava drafts replies, summaries and reports from each client’s data for you to review, and Studio tools write first drafts.
- Galleries let photographers and video teams share work for clients to comment on photo by photo, approve and download.
Where HoneyBook is better
- It is built around getting booked: inquiry, proposal, contract and payment can follow one another in a single flow.
- Automations send follow-ups and move clients along without you starting each step.
- Scheduling, invoices and online payments sit in the same tool as the contract.
- It is widely used by independent creatives, so there are plenty of templates and guides to learn from.
- There are mobile apps for running the business from your phone.
You do not have to pick one
Using them together.
Some studios keep HoneyBook for the booking side, from inquiry to signed contract and deposit, and give each client a BravaSpace space once the work starts, for approvals, files and updates. Two tools means two places invoices could live, so decide which one sends them. If most of your clients stay for months rather than one shoot or event, BravaSpace can carry the whole thing, with proposals that set the client up when they accept.
Switching from HoneyBook
Bring your clients across from HoneyBook.
It is one chat with Brava: say where you’re coming from, drop in the export, check, import. You see everything before it is added.
- 1
Tell Brava where you’re coming from.
Choose Add a client, then Switch from another tool, and pick HoneyBook. Brava gives you its export steps.
- 2
Drop in your export.
Your clients and contacts from HoneyBook, and projects or tasks if you want them: CSV, Excel or a ZIP. Brava reads only the column names and the first 20 rows to map the columns. Change any it got wrong.
- 3
Check, then import.
A short summary, like “9 clients and 11 contacts; 1 row needs a look.” Fix that row or leave it out, then press Import once. You can still undo the import afterwards.
Read the full switching guide, or talk to us if your export looks unusual.
Questions
Fair questions.
For agencies and studios with ongoing client work, yes. It covers proposals, contracts signed online and invoices with Pay now, and adds what HoneyBook is not built around: a branded space per client with tasks, approvals, files, messages and reporting. If you mostly need to get booked and paid, HoneyBook may suit you better.
Yes. In BravaSpace choose Add a client, then Switch from another tool, and pick HoneyBook: Brava gives you the export steps. Drop in the CSV, Excel or ZIP export, check the short summary, then import. Nothing is emailed to your clients, and Undo this import takes it back. Invoices are counted, not imported yet, so recreate the open ones.
Yes. The client signs a contract in their portal, under Billing, by typing their name and ticking that they agree, and a signed copy with who signed and when is saved to their Reports. Proposals are signed the same way on their shared link. There is no identity check.
BravaSpace is $39, $99 or $249 a month with 5, 10 or 40 client spaces. HoneyBook’s prices and plans change, so check its pricing page and compare what each plan includes for your team.
This comparison describes HoneyBook in general terms, from public information as we understand it in October 2026. We left out its prices and plan limits on purpose, because they change.
