Guide / 5 steps / about 10 minutes
Schedule a client call with Meet.
Book a call from BravaSpace, send the Google Meet link with the invite, and show your client what is coming up.
- A Google account with Google Calendar
- A client with at least one contact who has an email address, if you want them invited
Sidebar, Clients group, Meetings
Open Meetings, pick a video service, connect Google
The first time, Meetings asks two things. Step 1, Video calls: choose Google Meet or Zoom, and every new meeting gets that service’s link. Step 2: Connect Google calendar, sign in with your calendar account and tick every calendar permission when Google asks.
- Google Meet needs the calendar to make the call link. With Zoom, press Connect Zoom, and the calendar is optional.
Meetings
Look at your agenda
Upcoming shows the next 14 days with the time it was last synced. A calendar and a strip of the next seven days help you find a gap. Choose a day to filter the list, or switch to the month view to see the month ahead.
Meetings, New meeting
Create a meeting
Choose the client, give the call a title, set the date, time and length, and add notes. The client sees the notes on their Overview.
- Under Invite, choose Everyone at the client or Specific people. Those with an email get the Google invite, and the people with portal access see a message about it.
- A Google Meet or Zoom link is made for you, whichever you chose in step 1.
- Times use the time zone in your account settings. Press Create meeting when it is ready.
Client portal, Overview
What your client sees
A Next meeting tile appears on the client’s Overview with the title, the time in their own time zone, your notes and a Join on Google Meet button (Join Zoom for a Zoom call). The button wakes up 15 minutes before the start. The tile goes when the meeting ends, or when you cancel it.
Meetings, Your meeting link
Keep one meeting link for everyone
If you would rather share one link, choose Grant meeting link access once. You get a single reusable Google Meet link, and you can show it on client profiles. New link makes a fresh one if you ever need it.
If something looks different
Common snags.
If you already connected Google for other apps, Meetings asks for one more permission. Choose Grant calendar access and tick every calendar permission. Your other Google apps keep working meanwhile.
Only people with an email address get the Google invite, and only those you chose under Invite. The line under Invite says how many people will get one.
No, it is optional with Zoom. Without it, nobody gets a calendar invite, and your agenda shows the meetings booked in BravaSpace.
Cancel removes the Google Calendar event and the Next meeting tile on the client’s Overview.
