Insights and Studio
How it works
Connect once. It keeps itself current.
- 1Sign in with Google
The same Google sign-in as the other Google apps.
- 2Match each client to a property
Pick the GA4 property from the list, by name and account.
- 3Daily sync
Each match syncs daily and any time with Sync now.
- 4Shown to the client
Their own property's numbers only.
Before you start
What you need.
- A Google login with at least Viewer access to each client's GA4 property. Universal Analytics properties are not supported.
Permissions the sign-in asks for
- Search Console, read only (webmasters.readonly)
- Google Analytics, read only (analytics.readonly)
- Business Profile (business.manage): Google offers no read-only option. BravaSpace reads the profile and its reviews, and posts a review reply only when you approve it in Ask Brava
- Google Ads (adwords): Google offers no read-only option. BravaSpace reads reports, and pauses or enables a keyword or ad group, changes a daily budget or adds negative keywords only when you approve it in Ask Brava
- Your email address, to show which Google account is connected
Setting it up
Signing in.
- Use the Google login that already has access to your clients: Search Console owner or full user, Analytics viewer, Business Profile manager, Google Ads access (directly or through your manager account).
- Google asks you to choose the account and to tick each permission. Tick them all; an unticked box means that app cannot sync.
- One sign-in covers Search Console, Business Profile, Google Analytics and Google Ads.
In the app, Connect Google Analytics opens a guided setup with Brava: it asks for each thing in turn, tests the connection and tells you it is working.
Data and privacy
What BravaSpace keeps, and what it can touch.
What is stored
Google's refresh token, in a server-side table no browser can read (not even your team's), and one snapshot of numbers per client per sync. No passwords.
Access
Read only: analytics.readonly cannot change anything in Google Analytics.
Disconnecting
Disconnect Google on any Google app page: the token is revoked at Google and deleted. Client matches and synced numbers stay, ready for a reconnect; remove a client to delete theirs.

Brava reads the error and suggests the fix. The common ones: Reconnect Google and tick every permission on the consent screen. This is on BravaSpace's side, not yours: nothing to change in your account. It works again once it is switched on; try again later. Google no longer accepts the sign-in (a changed password or revoked access). Reconnect Google.
