What it does
Connect Semrush to your client work.
- Rankings for every tracked keyword
Each keyword's position from the client's Position Tracking campaign, where it started the month and its search volume, with the distribution from the top 3 to past 100.

Semrush's visibility index day by day, the average position, and how many keywords are in the top 3 and top 10.

How it works
Connect once. It keeps itself current.
- 1Connect with your API key
Paste the account API key, and a read-only v4 key if you have one. We check them with a free call that shows your unit balance.
- 2Match each client to a campaign
Pick the client's Position Tracking campaign; the first sync runs right away.
- 3Once a day, frugally
Each sync costs about 250 units plus 100 per keyword read (20 by default), and the tile says what it used and what is left.
- 4Clients see their own
Each client sees only their own campaign's numbers. A client can also connect their own Semrush account instead.
Before you start
What you need.
- A Semrush plan with API access (the SEO Business level) and a package of API units, bought in Semrush. Every call is paid from your own Semrush account; BravaSpace never pays for or resells units.
- A Position Tracking campaign for each client you want rankings for.
- The account API key (Subscription info, API units). A read-only v4 key (Profile, API keys) is recommended next to it, because it can be revoked.
Setting it up
Where to find it.
- Log in to Semrush with the account that holds the Position Tracking campaigns.
- Open your profile menu, then Subscription info, and copy the API key under API units.
- Recommended: open your profile menu, then API keys, create a key with Read-only access, and paste it too.
- API units are paid by your own Semrush account. Check your balance under Subscription info.
In the app, Connect Semrush opens a guided setup with Brava: it asks for each thing in turn, tests the connection and tells you it is working.
Data and privacy

What is stored
The Semrush keys, encrypted (AES-GCM) in a table no browser can read, plus the last four characters to tell keys apart, and the synced numbers per client for 30 days only: Semrush allows no caching of its data beyond a month without its written consent, so older syncs are deleted.
Access
Read only: BravaSpace lists folders and campaigns and reads reports. It never adds keywords, changes campaigns or spends units beyond the reports above.
Disconnecting
Disconnect Semrush on its page: the keys, every client match and all synced Semrush numbers are deleted. Nothing changes in your Semrush account.

Brava reads the error and suggests the fix. The common ones: Semrush did not accept the key. Copy it again from Subscription info, API units, without spaces. The Semrush API needs the SEO Business plan. Upgrade in Semrush, or ask Semrush support which plan includes the API. Your Semrush API units ran out. Buy a unit package under Subscription info in Semrush, then press Sync now. Lowering Keywords per client makes each sync cheaper.
