Websites and CMS
Webflow
A client's Webflow pages, SEO and CMS for Brava to read, and CMS and SEO changes made only once you press Apply.
Free for 14 days. No credit card needed.
What it does
Connect Webflow to your client work.
- The site, read for the AI
The site's domains and last publish, every page's SEO and Open Graph title and description, the CMS collections with their fields and newest items, and form submission counts.
Ask Brava, Insights and Studio's SEO and copy tools - Changes you approve, field by field
Ask Brava to rewrite a post's summary, add a draft post or fix a page's SEO description: it shows each field before and after, checked against the collection's own fields, and Webflow changes only when you press Apply.
Ask Brava - Nothing goes live by itself
Changes are staged and new items are drafts. Publishing the items or the site is its own step with its own Apply, and Brava never deletes or archives anything.
Ask Brava - Site numbers at a glance
Pages, CMS items, pages without an SEO description, form submissions and the last publish date, per client.
The Webflow Connection tab and the client's Overview
How it works
Connect once. It keeps itself current.
- 1Connect with a site API token
Generate one in the site's settings with the scopes below; add one token per further site.
- 2Match each client to their site
Pick the client's site from the sites the tokens open; the first sync runs right away.
- 3About once a day
Matches sync again on the scheduled run once the last sync is a day old, or any time with Sync now.
- 4Ask for a change
Brava proposes it, you review before and after and press Apply, and the change and its outcome are in the Logs tab.
What Brava can change
Changes in Webflow, only when you press Apply.
Ask Brava for a change and it reads Webflow live, then shows it on a card: what changes, before and after, and the limits it was checked against. Nothing is written until someone on your team presses Apply. The proposal and the change are both logged on the client's record.
- Change a CMS itemNo undo
Changes fields of one CMS item, each checked against the collection's own fields. It is saved as a staged change: the live site keeps the old text until it is published.
- Up to 20 fields per change.
- Text, rich text, links, numbers, switches, colors, dates and options; not images, files, videos or references.
No undo: the card shows the old values, so you can change them back.
- Add a draft CMS itemNo undo
Creates a new CMS item as a draft, with every required field. It is not on the live site until it is published.
- Up to 20 fields.
No undo: delete the draft in Webflow if you do not want it.
- Change a page's SEONo undo
Changes a page's SEO title and description and its Open Graph title and description, as plain text. Search engines see it after the next publish.
- Titles up to 200 characters, descriptions up to 500.
No undo: the card shows the old text, so you can change it back.
- Publish CMS itemsNo undo
Puts chosen CMS items live on the site; a draft is switched out of draft first.
- Up to 20 items per publish.
No undo: unpublish in Webflow if needed.
- Publish the siteNo undo
Publishes the whole site to all its domains. Every staged change goes live, also changes not made through BravaSpace.
- Webflow allows one site publish a minute.
No undo: a publish cannot be taken back from here.
A proposal can be applied for 15 minutes, once, and only if nothing it would overwrite changed in Webflow meanwhile. Nothing is ever deleted or archived.
Before you start
What you need.
- Access to the site's Site settings in Webflow (site or workspace admin) to generate a site API token.
- One token per site: a Webflow site token opens only the site it was made on.
- The CMS needs a Webflow plan with the CMS (any CMS, Business or Enterprise site plan).
Scopes to tick on the token
- sites:read, pages:read, cms:read: read the site, its pages and SEO, and the CMS (needed)
- forms:read: count form submissions (optional; no submission is read)
- cms:write: change CMS items, add drafts and publish items, only when you press Apply (optional)
- pages:write: change a page's SEO and Open Graph text, only when you press Apply (optional)
- sites:write: publish the whole site, only when you confirm it (optional)
Setting it up
Where to find it.
- In Webflow, open the client's site and go to Site settings, then Apps & integrations.
- Under API access, press Generate API token and give it a name such as BravaSpace.
- Tick read access for Sites, Pages and CMS (and Forms for submission counts). For changes from Ask Brava also tick write access for CMS and Pages, and Sites to publish the whole site.
- Copy the token right away: Webflow shows it once. For another client's site, repeat on that site and add its token under More site tokens.
In the app, Connect Webflow opens a guided setup with Brava: it asks for each thing in turn, tests the connection and tells you it is working.
Data and privacy
What BravaSpace keeps, and what it can touch.
What is stored
The Webflow credentials, encrypted (AES-GCM) in a table no browser can read, plus the last four characters to tell keys apart, and the synced numbers per client for 60 days.
Access
Reads sites, pages, CMS collections and items, and counts form submissions (never their content). Writes only a change you applied in Ask Brava: CMS item fields, new draft items, page SEO, and the publishes you confirm. Never deletes.
Disconnecting
Disconnect Webflow on its page: the credentials, every client match and all synced Webflow numbers are deleted. Nothing changes in your Webflow account.

Brava reads the error and suggests the fix. The common ones: The token is missing a scope. Generate a new token in the site's Apps & integrations with the scopes listed, then use Replace key. Match the client to their Webflow site on the Webflow app page first. Generate the token on the client's own site (Site settings, Apps & integrations) and add it under More site tokens.
