What it does
Connect Canva to your client work.
- From Canva, in the post editor
Your recent Canva designs with their thumbnails, and a search. Pick one and it is exported and added to the post.
Social, a post's Photos and video - The format the post needs
PNG or JPG for photos (one image a page, up to 10 for a carousel), MP4 for video, PDF for a document post.
Social, a post's Photos and video - Saved in the client's Reports
Each export is kept in the client's Reports like any upload, with the team until the post goes to the client for review.

How it works
Connect once. It keeps itself current.
- 1Connect your own Canva
Each teammate signs in to their own Canva once and allows BravaSpace to read their designs. Nothing in Canva is changed.
- 2Pick a design
In a post, choose From Canva under Photos and video, search or scroll your designs, and pick one.
- 3Exported at once
Canva's download link lasts 24 hours, so the file is copied into Files right away. Later edits in Canva do not change the copy: export it again.
Before you start
What you need.
- A Canva account (Free, Pro, Teams or Enterprise) that can download the design.
- Designs with paid Canva elements export only when you have bought them or your plan includes them.
- Library at Edit in your team permissions, and the client in your list.
Permissions the sign-in asks for
- Your designs' names and thumbnails (design:meta:read)
- An export of the design you pick (design:content:read)
- Your Canva display name, to show which account is connected (profile:read)
Setting it up
Signing in.
- Open Apps, then Canva, and choose Connect your Canva.
- Sign in to Canva and allow BravaSpace to read your designs.
- Back in the portal, open a post in Social and choose From Canva.
In the app, Connect Canva opens a guided setup with Brava: it asks for each thing in turn, tests the connection and tells you it is working.
Data and privacy
What BravaSpace keeps, and what it can touch.
What is stored
Your Canva sign-in, encrypted and only yours (no teammate or client can read it), and the files you export, in the client's Reports.
Access
Read only: your designs' names and thumbnails, and an export of the design you pick. BravaSpace never edits, shares or deletes anything in Canva.
Disconnecting
Disconnect on the Canva app page: your sign-in is deleted and Canva is told to end it. The exported files stay in Files until you delete them.

Brava reads the error and suggests the fix. The common ones: This is on BravaSpace's side, not yours: nothing to change in your Canva. It starts working once Canva has approved BravaSpace. Your Canva sign-in ended (a changed password, or the access was removed in Canva). Connect your Canva again. The design uses paid Canva elements. Buy them, swap them for free ones, or export it from a plan that includes them.
