Pick files in Google Drive and copy them into a client's Reports, no Drive connection needed.

What it does
Connect Google Drive to your client work.
- Add from Google Drive
Google's own file picker opens; the files you pick are copied into the client's Reports, up to 50 MB each.

Google Docs and Slides come in as PDF, Sheets as Excel, so the client can open them without a Google account.

How it works
Connect once. It keeps itself current.
- 1Nothing to connect
Whoever adds files uses their own Google account, at that moment. No connection is saved.
- 2Pick the files
In a client's Reports, choose Google Drive under the drop area, sign in to Google if asked, and pick up to 10 files.
- 3Copied, not linked
Each file is copied once. Later changes in Drive do not change the copy in Files.
Before you start
What you need.
- A Google account that can open and download the files.
- Pop-ups allowed for the portal, for Google's picker window.
Permissions the sign-in asks for
- Files you pick in Google Drive, read only (drive.file): never the rest of your Drive
Setting it up
Signing in.
- Open a client, then Files.
- Under the drop area, choose Google Drive.
- Sign in to Google if it asks, allow access to the files you pick, then pick them.
In the app, Connect Google Drive opens a guided setup with Brava: it asks for each thing in turn, tests the connection and tells you it is working.
Data and privacy
What BravaSpace keeps, and what it can touch.
What is stored
Only the copied files, in the client's Reports like any upload. No Google token, password or Drive list is kept.
Access
Read only, and only the files you pick: Google's drive.file permission does not let BravaSpace see the rest of your Drive. Nothing in Drive is changed.
Disconnecting
There is nothing to disconnect. To remove BravaSpace's access to the picked files, open your Google Account, Security, Your connections to third-party apps, and remove BravaSpace.

There is nothing to disconnect. To remove BravaSpace's access to the picked files, open your Google Account, Security, Your connections to third-party apps, and remove BravaSpace.
Brava reads the error and suggests the fix. The common ones: This is on BravaSpace's side, not yours: nothing to change in your Google account. It starts working once it is set up. Your browser blocked Google's window. Allow pop-ups for the portal, then choose Google Drive again. The file's owner does not allow downloads. Ask them for access, or download it and upload it instead.
