Work and files
Dropbox
Pick files in Dropbox and copy them into a client's Reports, no Dropbox connection needed.
Dropbox is coming soon. We're finishing the last setup; until then it cannot be connected.
Free for 14 days. No credit card needed.
What it does
Connect Dropbox to your client work.
- Add from Dropbox
Dropbox's own file chooser opens; the files you pick are copied into the client's Reports, up to 50 MB each.
A client's Reports tab and the upload dialog in Files - Photos, decks and zips
Any file you can download from Dropbox, except programs and web pages, which Files never takes.
The client's Reports tab
How it works
Connect once. It keeps itself current.
- 1Nothing to connect
Whoever adds files signs in to their own Dropbox in Dropbox's window. BravaSpace never sees the account.
- 2Pick the files
In a client's Reports, choose Dropbox under the drop area and pick up to 10 files.
- 3Copied right away
Dropbox's link lasts 4 hours, so each file is copied at once. Later changes in Dropbox do not change the copy.
Before you start
What you need.
- A Dropbox account that can download the files.
- Pop-ups allowed for the portal, for Dropbox's window.
Permissions the sign-in asks for
- A download link for each file you pick, nothing else (Dropbox Chooser): no access to the rest of your Dropbox
Setting it up
Signing in.
- Open a client, then Files.
- Under the drop area, choose Dropbox.
- Sign in to Dropbox in its window if it asks, then pick the files.
In the app, Connect Dropbox opens a guided setup with Brava: it asks for each thing in turn, tests the connection and tells you it is working.
Data and privacy
What BravaSpace keeps, and what it can touch.
What is stored
Only the copied files, in the client's Reports like any upload. No Dropbox token, password or file list is kept.
Access
Read only, and only the files you pick: the chooser hands over a download link for each one, nothing else. Nothing in Dropbox is changed.
Disconnecting
There is nothing to disconnect: no Dropbox account is linked to BravaSpace. The copied files stay in Files until you delete them.
Questions
Dropbox questions.

Brava reads the error and suggests the fix. The common ones: This is on BravaSpace's side, not yours: nothing to change in your Dropbox. It starts working once it is set up. Your browser blocked Dropbox's window. Allow pop-ups for the portal, then choose Dropbox again. Dropbox's link only lasts a few hours. Pick the file again.
