HubSpot is coming soon. We're finishing the last setup; until then it cannot be connected.

What it does

Connect HubSpot to your client work.

  • New contacts

How many contacts were created in the last 30 days, with the change on the 30 days before.

A tile on the client's Overview
  • Deals and pipeline

Deals created and won in the period, the won value, and the value of every open deal.

A tile on the client's Overview
  • Where leads come from

New contacts by HubSpot's original source (organic search, paid, social, email, referrals), and by day.

Visibility, Leads: the client's report and their own Visibility tab

How it works

Connect once. It keeps itself current.

  1. 1
Make a private app in the portal

A Super Admin of the client's HubSpot makes a private app with two read scopes.

  2. 2
    Connect with its access token

One token per HubSpot portal: each client's own.

  3. 3
    Pick the account

The token reads one portal, matched to its client; it syncs right away.

  4. 4
    About once a day

Matches sync again on the scheduled run once the last sync is a day old, or with Sync now.

Before you start

What you need.

  • A HubSpot account (any plan, free included) and a Super Admin of it.
  • A private app in that account with the read scopes crm.objects.contacts.read and crm.objects.deals.read, and its access token.

Setting it up

Where to find it.

  1. Sign in to the HubSpot account as a Super Admin.
  2. Open Development (or Settings, Integrations), then Legacy apps, and create a private app named BravaSpace.
  3. On its Scopes tab tick crm.objects.contacts.read and crm.objects.deals.read, nothing else, and create the app.
  4. Open the Auth tab and copy the access token (it starts with pat-).

In the app, Connect HubSpot opens a guided setup with Brava: it asks for each thing in turn, tests the connection and tells you it is working.

Data and privacy

What BravaSpace keeps, and what it can touch.

What is stored

The HubSpot access token, encrypted (AES-GCM) in a table no browser can read, plus the last four characters to tell tokens apart, and the synced numbers per client for 60 days.

Access

Read only: the token has read scopes only. BravaSpace reads counts, deal amounts and each new contact's source; no contact's name or email is kept, and these numbers are not shared with the AI.

Disconnecting

Disconnect HubSpot on its page: the token, every client match and all synced HubSpot numbers are deleted. To cut access in HubSpot too, delete the private app or rotate its token.

Questions

Brava reads the error and suggests the fix. The common ones: The token is missing a scope. In HubSpot open the private app, tick crm.objects.contacts.read and crm.objects.deals.read on the Scopes tab, save, and connect again. Copy the access token from the private app's Auth tab. It starts with pat-. HubSpot no longer accepts the token (it was rotated or the app was deleted). Copy the current token from the private app's Auth tab and use Replace key.
