How it works
Connect once. It keeps itself current.
- 1Connect with a private API key
Read access to Lists, Profiles and Campaigns is enough for the numbers. For Ask Brava's draft campaigns, give Campaigns full access.
- 2Pick each client's list
From the account's lists; it syncs right away.

Matches sync again on the scheduled run once the last sync is a day old, or with Sync now.
What Brava can change
Changes in Klaviyo, only when you press Apply.
Ask Brava for a change and it reads Klaviyo live, then shows it on a card: what changes, before and after, and the limits it was checked against. Nothing is written until someone on your team presses Apply. The proposal and the change are both logged on the client's record.
- Create a draft campaignNo undo
Saves a draft email campaign to the client's matched list (name, subject, preview text), for your team to design and schedule in Klaviyo. It is never sent from BravaSpace.
- Subject line up to 150 characters.
- Needs a private key with Campaigns full access; a read-only key can only read.
No undo: delete the draft in Klaviyo if you do not want it.
A proposal can be applied for 15 minutes; where there is an undo, it is offered for 7 days. No change deletes anything that was there before.
Before you start
What you need.
- A Klaviyo account.
- A private API key with read access to Lists, Profiles and Campaigns, for the numbers.
- For draft campaigns from Ask Brava: the same key with full access to Campaigns (a read-only key cannot create them).
Setting it up
Where to find it.
- Log in to Klaviyo.
- Open Settings, then API keys.
- Create a private API key with read access to Lists and Profiles, and Campaigns at read access for the numbers only, or full access so Ask Brava can save draft campaigns. Copy it when it is shown (Klaviyo shows it once).
In the app, Connect Klaviyo opens a guided setup with Brava: it asks for each thing in turn, tests the connection and tells you it is working.

What is stored
The Klaviyo credentials, encrypted (AES-GCM) in a table no browser can read, plus the last four characters to tell keys apart, and the synced numbers per client for 60 days.
Access
Reads list sizes and campaigns; no profile is read one by one, and these numbers are not shared with the AI. With Campaigns full access, Ask Brava can propose a draft campaign to the client's list, saved in Klaviyo (never sent or scheduled) only when you press Apply on its card. A read-only key keeps it read only.
Disconnecting
Disconnect Klaviyo on its page: the credentials, every client match and all synced Klaviyo numbers are deleted. Nothing changes in your Klaviyo account.

Brava reads the error and suggests the fix. The common ones: The key can read but not create campaigns. In Klaviyo, Settings, API keys, create a private key with full access to Campaigns (and read access to Lists and Profiles), then use Replace key. Klaviyo did not accept the key. Check it is a private key (pk_) with read access to Lists, Profiles and Campaigns.
