Microsoft Advertising
Microsoft Advertising spend, clicks, conversions and cost per conversion, overall and by campaign, for every client.
Microsoft Advertising is coming soon. We're finishing Microsoft's verification; until then it cannot be connected.
Free for 14 days. No credit card needed.
What it does
Connect Microsoft Advertising to your client work.
- Spend and results
Spend, impressions, clicks, click-through rate, cost per click, conversions and cost per conversion for the last 28 days, with 90 days of daily numbers.
The client's Visibility tab, Ads - Campaigns
Each campaign's spend, clicks and conversions over the last 28 days, and revenue with return on ad spend where the account tracks revenue.
Visibility tab and reports - Next to the other ad platforms
Brava's picks and the monthly report read the latest Microsoft numbers beside Google, Meta and LinkedIn, and only quote numbers that synced.

How it works
Connect once. It keeps itself current.
- 1Sign in with Microsoft
Use the login of your agency's Microsoft Advertising manager account. A Viewer role is enough: BravaSpace only reads.
- 2Match each client to an ad account
Every account the login reaches is listed, including clients linked to your manager account; pick the client's.
- 3Daily sync
Each match syncs daily and with Sync now. The last 90 days are read again each time, because conversions arrive late.
- 4Shown to the client
Their own account's numbers only. A client can also connect their own Microsoft Advertising login from their portal.
Before you start
What you need.
- A Microsoft Advertising login (work or personal Microsoft account) with at least the Viewer role on each client's account, directly or through your manager account.
- Client accounts linked to your manager account: the client accepts the link request within 30 days.
- Beta: Microsoft Advertising is coming soon while Microsoft finishes verifying BravaSpace's app.
Permissions the sign-in asks for
- Microsoft Advertising (msads.manage): Microsoft offers no read-only option. BravaSpace reads account names and reports, nothing else
- Stay signed in (offline_access): so the daily sync runs without you
- Your name (openid, profile): to show who connected
Setting it up
Signing in.
- Use the Microsoft login of your agency's manager account in Microsoft Advertising (ui.ads.microsoft.com), the one your clients link their accounts to.
- Microsoft asks you to pick the account, then to allow BravaSpace to see your Microsoft Advertising data. Allow it.
- The sign-in renews itself each day it is used. It stops after 90 days without a sync, and then the page asks you to reconnect.
In the app, Connect Microsoft Advertising opens a guided setup with Brava: it asks for each thing in turn, tests the connection and tells you it is working.
Data and privacy
What BravaSpace keeps, and what it can touch.
What is stored
Microsoft's access and refresh tokens, encrypted (AES-GCM) in a table no browser can read (not even your team's), the name of who signed in, and one snapshot of numbers per client per sync. No passwords.
Access
Read only in practice: Microsoft offers one permission for its API (msads.manage), and BravaSpace only uses it to read account names and reporting numbers. It never creates, changes, pauses or pays for anything, and Ask Brava has no Microsoft changes to propose.
Disconnecting
Disconnect Microsoft Advertising on its page: the tokens are deleted. To remove BravaSpace from your Microsoft account too, open myapps.microsoft.com (work account) or account.live.com/consent/Manage (personal). Client matches and synced numbers stay, ready for a reconnect.

Brava reads the error and suggests the fix. The common ones: This is on BravaSpace's side, not yours: nothing to change in your Microsoft account, and reconnecting will not help. It starts working by itself once Microsoft has finished verifying BravaSpace's app. Microsoft no longer accepts the sign-in (it ran out after 90 days unused, a password changed, or access was removed). Press Reconnect on the Microsoft Advertising page and sign in again; use the work account if your Microsoft Advertising login moved to one. The Microsoft login that connected cannot see this ad account. Ask the client to accept your manager account's link request in Microsoft Advertising (Accounts and billing, Requests), or to add you as a user, then press Sync now.
