Pinterest Ads is coming soon. We're finishing Pinterest's approval; until then it cannot be connected.

Free for 14 days. No credit card needed.

What it does

Connect Pinterest Ads to your client work.

  • Spend and results

Spend, impressions, clicks, click-through rate, cost per click, conversions and cost per conversion for the last 28 days, with 90 days of daily numbers.

    The client's Visibility tab, Ads
  • Campaigns

Each campaign's spend, clicks and conversions over the last 28 days, the biggest spenders first.

    Visibility tab and reports
  • Insights and reports

Brava's picks and the monthly report read the latest Pinterest numbers next to the other ad platforms, and only quote numbers that synced.

How it works

Connect once. It keeps itself current.

  1. 1
    Sign in with Pinterest

Use the Pinterest business account your clients' ad accounts are shared with (Business Access): one sign-in covers them all.

  2. 2
Match each client to an ad account

The ad accounts the sign-in can read, its own and the shared ones, are listed; pick the client's.

  3. 3
    Daily sync

Each match syncs daily and any time with Sync now.

  4. 4
    Shown to the client

    Their own account's numbers only.

Before you start

What you need.

  • A Pinterest business account with access to each client's ad account: shared with your business through Business Access (Admin, Analyst or Campaign Manager), or the client's own login.
  • Beta: until Pinterest grants BravaSpace's app access, Pinterest Ads shows Coming soon. On Pinterest's trial access a few syncs a day may wait for the next day.

Permissions the sign-in asks for

  • Ads, read only (ads:read): ad accounts, campaigns and their reporting numbers. Nothing is created, changed or paid for
  • Account, read only (user_accounts:read): who signed in

Setting it up

Signing in.

  1. Sign in with the Pinterest business account that can see the ad accounts (your own business, with clients' accounts shared through Business Access, or the client's own login).
  2. Pinterest shows the permissions on its consent screen; allow them.
  3. The sign-in renews itself on every sync; it stops only when the access is removed in Pinterest, and the page then asks you to reconnect.

In the app, Connect Pinterest Ads opens a guided setup with Brava: it asks for each thing in turn, tests the connection and tells you it is working.

Data and privacy

What BravaSpace keeps, and what it can touch.

What is stored

Pinterest's access and refresh tokens, encrypted (AES-GCM) in a table no browser can read (not even your team's), the name of who signed in, and one snapshot of numbers per client per sync. No passwords.

Access

Read only: BravaSpace reads ad account names and reporting numbers. It cannot create, change, pause or pay for anything in Pinterest Ads, and Ask Brava has no Pinterest Ads changes to propose.

Disconnecting

Disconnect Pinterest Ads on its page: the tokens are deleted (Pinterest organic, if connected, keeps its own sign-in). Client matches and synced numbers stay, ready for a reconnect; remove a client's match to delete theirs.

Questions

Sign in with Pinterest from the Pinterest Ads app page in BravaSpace. Pinterest shows the permissions on its consent screen; allow them. The sign-in renews itself on every sync; it stops only when the access is removed in Pinterest, and the page then asks you to reconnect. Then match each client to their Pinterest ad account.

Brava reads the error and suggests the fix. The common ones: This is on BravaSpace's side, not yours: nothing to change in your Pinterest account, and reconnecting will not help. It starts working by itself once Pinterest has approved BravaSpace's app. BravaSpace's app is on Pinterest's trial access, which caps the requests a day. The sync picks up again tomorrow by itself; nothing to change. Pinterest only shares numbers of business accounts. Convert the account in Pinterest (Settings, Account management, Convert to a business account), then press Reconnect.
